Rev. Rene Autry

Rev. Autry began her pulpit preaching ministry for God when she was called to preach in the early 1980's when she and her husband held Bible study in their home and by holding public meetings.  Then in 1994 she became credentialed with the Assemblies of God.  She served as an Assembly minister for 16 years.  Under the direction of the Holy Spirit, she changed her ministry to nondenominational.

Before beginning her preaching ministry, Rene was a teacher in the public schools and an office worker.  She graduated from Texas A&M Corpus Christi when it was known as CCSU. 

She and her husband Bill Autry have been married for 38 years, and they have one beautiful daughter, Lori, and two fabulous grandsons, Tyler and Nathan.

Bill and Rene are well known in the South Texas area and beyond to many pastors and leaders as godly Christians who are giving their lives to the ministry of Jesus Christ for His glory.  Theirs is a ministry of excellent reputation and very high integrity.  Bill and Rene are also well known in the community of Portland/Corpus Christi as a Christian family embodying the principles of Christ and His Word.
