One of our most powerful weapons against the enemy is fasting.  Isaiah 58 is the great fasting chapter of the Bible.  Fasting is a weapon with purpose.  Is. 58:6 tells us the reasons that we use fasting and what God designed fasting to do, "Is not this the fast that I have chosen?  To loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke."  You can use fasting to accomplish these things in your life and in the lives of your loved ones.  Fast; pray; do warfare in the Name of Jesus.

Demonic oppression and all bondage can be broken by fasting and prayer.  If you feel like you've prayed, talked, and done everything you can, but they just won't listen, and that person's mind is so bound up in sin, you need to get them to the point that they want to be free.  This will be your first goal in fasting. 

Point your fast!  Fast for a purpose.  In Matthew 6, Jesus said there's a reward for fasting.  Name your reward.  Make that the purpose of your fast.  Break the control of demons off your beloved's mind.  Pray that they would want to be free.  Read the story in Matthew 17 about the boy held in serious demonic control.  Jesus said, "This kind can come forth by nothing but by prayer and fasting."

Go after a change in their will - by prayer and fasting.  When they want to be free, you may have to take them to a real deliverance ministry in your area.  Get the demons cast out, and get them born again. 

Don't talk about your fast.  It's between you and God.

Be led by the Holy Spirit about how long to fast.  Check with your doctor about it if you have an ongoing illness or concerns about your health.

In Matthew 11:28, Jesus said, "Come unto Me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."  Enter into His rest about your family.  While you are praying, believing, and using every weapon God has provided, also rest in Him.  Let your faith be your ticket into peace, safety, and joy.  Believe Him!  He will set your loved ones free - if you will step out to believe .
